In Archons' Gambit, the seven nations of Teyvat compete against one another over two rounds. In the preliminary, players of the same nation compete among themselves for the top spots. In the finals, the two best players from each qualifying nation pair up to represent it. Paimon has written everything down in the Adventurer's Handbook (PDF).

Registration

Closes 25 Nov
  • Pick two nations, in order of preference.
  • After registration closes, you're placed in one of them. First choices come first, while keeping nations balanced.
  • Want a friend in your nation? Name them in the form. We'll honour it if it doesn't unbalance the nations.

Preliminary round

28 Nov · Discord
  • An individual buzzer quiz. Your nation's questions follow its element and identity.
  • Play one segment or both. Each segment is scored separately.
  • Buzzer rules, marking, time limits and penalties are announced before the quiz starts.

Reaching the finals

2 finalists per nation
  1. Nations are ranked by the average score of their eligible players (those who attempt at least half the questions). The top five advance.
  2. Each qualifying nation sends a pair: its top Genshin scorer and its top Anime scorer. Top both? You take the segment where you scored higher, and the runner-up fills the other slot.
  3. Finalists get free entry to Fusion Play 2.0. If one can't attend, the slot passes to the next-best scorer in that nation.

  • A battle of nations, played as teams of two.
  • Questions open up: Genshin Impact and popular anime, plus other HoYoverse games such as Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.
  • The top three teams win gift merchandise for each member.
